WenQi, an Chinese illustrator based in South Korea.
She majored in animation for her BA Bachelor in China and then majored in Children’s Book Illustration for her MA Bachelor in Cambridge, UK.
She worked as an illustrator in China for about 4 years, her main job was designing stickers for an app. Doing picture books for kids aged 3-5. And did company IP development, also courseware illustration making. She gained a lot of work experience in four years.
She likes to tell stories through pictures. She majored in animation at a Chinese university, but during the learning process, she realised that she prefers to tell stories through static pictures. So after graduated, she chose to study children’s book illustration for master's degree. Apart from picture books, she also loves designing different characters with vivid images and interesting characteristics. She believes that unique characters can make a story better.
She likes to draw cute things and touchable stories. She also likes to explore more possibilities for her personal style.
